We now have the complete list of talent and hosts for this year’s Dota 2 TI. Valve definitely went all out in creating a stacked lineup with talent from across the ecosystem.
This year’s voice lines are permanent items, so that’s another good reason to support your favorite casters.
Let’s be frank here, Ephey’s autograph and voice line sales will sell like hot buns. After all, the Jordanian Dota 2 commentator and analyst has been in the limelight for several International Championships, Majors and even the recent Riyadh Masters 2023.
The International 2023 Hosts
Ephey aside, the International 2023 (TI12) hosts are worth mentioning because we have twice the number of hosts this year. James “2GD” Harding is not one of the TI12 hosts, so that’s a huge letdown for James’ fans.
However, we are still getting the usual powerhouse team of hosts that performed incredibly last TI. The TI12 hosts are:
Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden
Neal “Tsunami” Khandheria
Natalie “NatTea” Mahoney
Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner
Ted “PyrionFlax” Forsyth
Sean “Snare” Rihlamvu
While Sheever, Tsunami, NatTea, Slacks and Pyrion are returning TI hosts, the team welcomes its latest addition, Snare. That said, Snare is no stranger to the Dota 2 community, being a commentator, caster and analyst since his career debut in 2021. His most recent role as host at Bali Major 2023 and Riyadh Masters 2023 surely sealed his spot as one of the most intuitive hosts Valve brought onto TI12.
Aside from the new addition, Slacks and Pyrion technically played different roles during the last TI. Slacks particularly, was a sideline reporter with Kaci “Kaci” Aitchison, who went around the venue, making fun punchlines and gigs. There’s a high likelihood that the iconic duo will still play this entertaining role at Seattle, so that’s exciting.
Speaking of Seattle, NatTea being physically at TI venue is a breath of fresh air for both her and the Dota 2 viewers. NatTea served as a virtual host, who broadcasted from a different venue that’s not Singapore, which raised criticism from fans regarding PGL’s cost-saving antics.
As for Pyrion, he will likely also be the Late Game Host, where he will be at a local bar in Seattle to recap on each day of TI12.

The International 12 Broadcast Talent
Expect the usual staples from previous TI’s to be at Seattle Convention Center’s Summit and Climate Pledge Arena. Notably, we can expect Owen “ODPixel” Davies to be casting in the high-stake series, such as TI12 Grand Final itself.
Of course, the entire TI12 Talent team is stacked with phenomenal people, so we are getting a thrilling viewing experience, even in the comfort of Twitch live stream.
The International 2023 Talent Bundles
Everyone’s got their favorite talent to follow, and what better way to support them by purchasing the TI12 Talent Bundle. Each talent will have four tiers of bundles:
Standard Bundle: Regular sticker = $0.99
Shiny Bundle: Shiny sticker + chat wheel phrase = $4.99
Holographic Bundle: Holographic sticker + chat wheel phrase + autograph rune = $9.99
Golden Bundle: Golden sticker + chat wheel phrase + autograph rune + a second phrase = $19.99
The sticker item is similar to CS:GO’s player stickers, which feature the talent’s signature and their headshot photo. Some notable talent went out of their way to look as flamboyant as possible, such as Slack cosplaying as Crystal Maiden and Robson “TeaGuvnor” Merritt as Lina. Each sticker has its own version, too, such as regular, shiny, holographic and the ultimate golden sticker.
At the second tier, the holographic bundle contains a personalized chat wheel phrase from the specific talent and even has a second phrase in the golden bundle. Be sure to demo each talent’s chat wheel, as there are several that are really meme-worthy to spam in your matches.
Lastly, there’s the autograph rune, which you can add to any skin. It serves to display the talent’s signature but do not alter or provide any additional feature to the skin it’s embedded into.
While Valve’s approach to this year’s TI12 in revenue generation seems less exorbitant, it does shine the spotlight on the people who brings TI12 to life, the Dota 2 talents. Consider supporting the talents at TI12 with the money you saved from not purchasing the underwhelming Dota Compendium 2023.
As usual, do note that 50% of the revenue from all talent bundles is distributed evenly to every talent, so don’t feel bad not supporting one talent or another.
