Vetheo and Perkz have swapped organizations

The French mid laner has reached a verbal agreement with Team Vitality and is transferred without a buyout, according to a report by Sheep Esports. Vetheo and Perkz have essentially swapped rosters, with the latter joining Team Heretics and reuniting with former G2 members Jankos and Wunder.

With this last move, Team Vitality have completed the roster for 2024:

Top Lane: Kyeong “Photon” Gyu-tae
Jungle: Kacper “Daglas” Dagiel
Mid Lane: Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié
Bot Lane: Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság
Support: Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov
Head Coach: James “Mac” MacCormack
Assistants: Patrick “Pad” Suckow-Breum and Alexander “Carter” Cartwright

Top laner Photon is the only returning member from 2023 while Daglas has been promoted to the starting roster. The bot lane will be made by the former MAD Lions 2023 duo of Carzzy and Hylissang. The lineup will be led by head coaches Mac and Pad, which were also picked up from MAD.

Vitality’s long list of mid lane choices

Based on the report, Team Vitality’s offseason has been long due to the numerous options for the mid lane role. Initially, the team wanted to get Larssen, but the player decided to remain in Infinite Reality’s team. Former MAD mid laner Nisqy was also considered but eventually joined SK Gaming.

Other mid laners such as Abbedagge, Gori, and Tempt were also under consideration, but in the end, VIT went with Vetheo, reuniting with former assistant coach Carter from the Misfits Gaming days in 2022.
