Warzone Mobile finally has a release date, and it’s coming very soon to mobile devices the world over. Since being revealed in 2022, mobile-based gamers have been patiently awaiting news of the Warzone Mobile release date, and it’s finally here. Recently, Activision Blizzard issued a press release breaking down the launch date for Warzone Mobile and detailing all the pre-registration benefits that players will unlock when they sign up to play the game ahead of time.
Exclusive details about the game were shared in this release, and in an all-new trailer, we got a fresh tease of what’s coming in Warzone Mobile. This highly anticipated game will likely share levels of success comparable to Call of Duty Mobile, one of the most widely downloaded and played mobile games ever created.
When is Warzone Mobile Coming Out?
It was revealed that the global launch of Warzone Mobile will take place on March 21st, almost four years to the day that Call of Duty Warzone was first released. In Warzone Mobile, players will be dropping back into Verdansk for the first time since November 2021, when the map was cut from the game and replaced with Caldera.
It was also confirmed by AB that Warzone Mobile will feature cross-progression features. These will allow players to link their mobile game with Modern Warfare 3 and the core Warzone experience, sharing battle pass XP and levelling up weapons across the full ecosystem. In Warzone Mobile, a whopping 120 players will drop into the map as part of the super-satisfying battle royale mode, and it has been said that the high player count won’t disrupt the sumptuous visuals on display.
There’s more than just Verdansk coming to Warzone Mobile, though. It was also confirmed that Rebirth Island is coming to Warzone Mobile as a short-form experience – and some of Call of Duty’s best maps are making an appearance in a multiplayer format. Players will be able to play on Shipment, Scrapyard, and Shoot House, taking part in a series of traditional multiplayer modes.
Pre-Registration Rewards
When breaking down the pre-registration rewards, Activision Blizzard was doing little more than highlighting that every goal was achieved. At least 45 million players have pre-registered for Warzone Mobile – which is why there’s such a substantial offering on the way. This now means that players have unlocked a special Ghost skin, the Rebirth and Shoot House maps, and some weapon blueprints.
There’s plenty to soak up in Warzone Mobile, which is set to be one of the most exciting mobile games to hit the market in recent years. With full controller support and the backing of the tried and tested infrastructure that powers COD Mobile, there’s no stopping this battle royale-based experience from succeeding.
It all kicks off on March 21, 2024.
