What are the Minimum Requirements to play Rainbow Six Mobile (R6M)

Rainbow Six Mobile was first announced in September 2022, and it was the first time that the tactical FPS title based on Tom Clancy’s was being ported to a mobile device. After more than a year of testing and development, the game has now entered its soft launch period and will be launching globally soon as well.

Rainbow Six Mobile features the classic Attack vs. Defense game mode. It also has operators and maps from the original Rainbow Six franchise. The game has managed to port the core strategic gameplay to an Android and iOS device successfully. Before you download the game, though, here are the minimum requirements needed to enjoy the title.

What are the minimum requirements for Rainbow Six Mobile?

Currently, R6M is in Soft Launch as Ubisoft is testing the game across various devices. Thus, the minimum requirements for the final version of the game may differ from the current specifications needed.

Android

Ubisoft has said that if you open the Google Play Store and can pre-register for the game, then Rainbow Six Mobile is compatible on your device.

However, the game still hasn’t been optimized for many devices. Therefore, you may still face some issues while playing the game.

But, if you have an Android device with more than 4GB of free RAM, you should be able to play the game smoothly.

iOS

The minimum requirements to play Rainbow Six Mobile on iOS are as follows:

A12 Bionic Processor or newer
iOS 14.4 and above
At least 4GB RAM

Thus, devices like the iPhone XR, iPhone SE, iPad Air (3rd Gen), iPad Mini (5th Gen), iPad (9th Gen) and older won’t be able to run the game.
