Fortnite’s latest season is a flashback to Chapter 1, and it’s safe to say it has been pretty popular. The title has smashed FN player records in its opening days and players are loving this return to a simpler Fortnite. The game isn’t all change though, we’ve still got a new pass, the Fortnite OG Pass.

The current Fortnite season is a truncated month-long affair. For some games that might mean only a minor pass, but we’ve still got 50+ levels to play through in Fortnite! There are some cool new skins which are unique twists on some Chapter 1 classics. Plus, some highly customizable skins too. This is everything you need to know about the Fortnite OG Pass.

Fortnite OG Pass – How Does it Work?

The Fortnite OG Pass is what we’re getting for a Battle Pass through November. In function, it’s working pretty similar to the last few Chapters of Battle Passes. Players will get battle Stars for levelling up. They can trade these in for rewards, either on the free tier or the paid one. There’s also a bonus section for a customizable skin, Spectre Knight.

The biggest rewards on the Fortnite OG Battle Pass are the new Fortnite skins. These are all of the characters on the current pass:

Spectra Knight – Customizable skin
Lil Split – Half Peely, Half Lil Whip
Renegade Lynx – A mash-up of Lynx and the Chapter 1 classic Renegade Raider
Omegarok – A take on the C1 Omega character

Each of these skins has different styles to them too. For Lil Split, Lynx, and Omegarok you can unlock these in the pass itself. For Spectra Knight it’s a bit more elaborate though. As you play and complete the weekly quests, you’ll unlock different items for this skin. You can then mix and match to customize it and make your own personalized Knight!

Do You Get V-Bucks in the OG Pass?

One of the better features of the Fortnite Battle Pass is that it pays for itself. Every season has enough free v-bucks given away to reimburse players for their contributions, plus a little extra for the item shop! The OG Pass might be shorter, but it isn’t worse value. Players will find enough V-Bucks from this pass to cover their initial purchase. There’s a bit less coming in excess of its original price this year. It still essentially pays for itself though.

How Long Will the OG Pass Run?

The Fortnite OG Pass has fewer rewards than we saw in C4 S4, because the season is shorter. We’re only getting 4 weeks to complete it. That means it’ll end in December. Players will only have until then to complete all of these skins and unlock everything before December 2nd when the pass ends.
