The next update for Fortnite is about to drop soon, bringing back one of the biggest POIs players saw in Chapter 1. Fortnite Frosty Flights is coming back within a few days! This spot was one of the most fun POIs we got in Chapter 1 of Fortnite, being key to the update that brought in a lot of iconic winterfest content. What was Fortnite Frosty Flights, why did it have such lasting memory, and when is the POI coming back?

Fortnite Frosty Flights

The Frosty Flights Poi was first added in Ch1 Season 7, a new named point of interest on the map. It arrived along with the addition of snow to the game. For a lot of players, Frosty Flights is pretty strongly associated with that new biome, only looking right when covered in snow. It’s gone on to be one of the more impactful POIs. While it isn’t as iconic as Tilted Towers, its has been fondly remembered, even getting a set of cosmetics named after it.

Physically the buildings in Fortnite Frosty Flights have a clear theme. It’s a hanger, for aircraft. Season 7 of Fortnite was when the vehicle was first added into the game. Frosty Flights is where the planes are at home. The POI is two hangers with a joining complex which features more loot. In terms of Fortnite lore, the hanger is supposedly owned by Sgt Winter.

With the 2023 Winterfest still a few weeks away though, why are we getting the winter POI back? The updates for Fortnite OG will see Season 7’s POI introduced pretty soon.

When is Frosty Flights Coming Back?

Fortnite Frosty Flights is due to return to the game pretty soon. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve likely heard that the gam is back in Chapter 1 for a single month of gameplay. We’ve already been through Chapter 5 Season 5 and 6 so far, and 7 is coming next. The Fortnite OG Season 7 update will add Frosty back in the game.

That update is currently scheduled to arrive on November 16th. How long will Fortnite Frosty Flights stick around though? The game is going to keep going through Chapter 1 seasons, which means this will likely be around for the duration. Frosty Flights stayed in the game through Season 8, 9, and X. We’ll probably see Frosty Flights remain until the current Fortnite season ends to match this.
