The latest Fortnite Season is far and away one of our biggest ever updates, Epic has almost released an entirely new game. While Battle Royale will never be the same (until Fortnite OG returns in 2024) Epic is actually launching some entirely separate games. We’re getting a racing mode, a rhythm mode, and even a Fortnite Lego mode. Not all at once though, so when does Fortnite Lego come out?

The new mode was previewed as part of the Big Bang event, where we saw a decent look at it. This confirmed a lot we knew from leaks, that this was going to be a Minecraft-like mode made entirely out of Lego in the world of Fortnite. It looks like one of the biggest updates Fortnite’s ever received and is basically a completely different game. When can we get stuck in? When is the Fortnite Lego release date?

When Does Fortnite Lego Come Out?

The Fortnite Lego release date is going to be Thursday, December 7th. It’s coming just a bit less than a week after the launch of Fortnite Chapter 5. Since this new Chapter is such a huge change, Epic has been spacing out the content drops.

We first got the new chapter on Sunday and players have been getting to grips with the many changes happening to the game. However, it’s just Battle Royale that has changed. Given that fans expected everything on the first day, many were left wondering when does Fortnite Lego come out.

The full mode is going to release about five days after the main Season. It’s dropping on Thursday, which is a good few days later. The other new mode release dates are getting spaced out from the Lego mode too. Fortnite Festival is coming a day later, with Fortnite Rocket Racing a day later still.

If you’re still working towards getting your win in Fortnite and Victory Umbrella in BR (or amassing those crown Royales) you’ll probably see why the Fortnite Lego release date is a bit later. We’re getting enough time to test out the core mode’s changes before we jump into Lego.

New Mode Coming soon

The Lego mode looks like an entirely new game. It’s using the same characters, but even the skins have been transformed into Lego. The gameplay sounds like a nice change from the norm too. If you’re excited to see everything this new mode has to offer, it’s only a short while to wait until the Fortnite Lego release date.
