Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has a lot of quests for players to get through. There are the dailys, weeklies, milestones (which have been nerfed a bit), and a special questline for the launch. The Aura questline that has launched with Chapter 4 is something a bit different, culminating in a lengthy quest to find a Fortnite chalice!

Compared to most of the quests, where to find the Chalice in Fortnite is a bit more complicated. The spot given on your map for the chalice appears to be underground which, causes a few problems in actually getting it done! If you’re blowing through your early quests and want to complete the one about the Fortnite Chalice, then it’s quite simple, to get through once you understand it.

Parts of the quest are definitely more complicated. Across Fortnite all seasons, it’s far from the hardest quest we’ve had though. It just has a few puzzles which might get easier once you know what to look for when finding the Fortnite chalice.

Fortnite Chalice Quest – Step by Step

The Fortnite Chalice quest is the final round of the Aura quests. Once you’ve completed the earlier ones like interacting with some boxes in the new biome, you should get through to this one. Once it appears, you’ll have to figure out where to find the Chalice in Fortnite.

The first step is to land in the new Creeky Compound POI.
Land here, and grab some early loot.
Head over to the quest marker. You’ll be able to find the spot it’s pointing towards pretty easily, but don’t head up the hill to get to the exact location. Instead, look for a cave entrance.

At the base of the high ground around the jungle, there is an entrance to some ruins. Inside you’ll find a door. To get through the door, you’ll need to give an offering.

Where to Find the Fortnite in Chalice

Once you’re in the cave and made your offering of a decent rarity weapon, you’ll enter a large room. You can go straight ahead to more doors needing weapons, or you can head toward the Fortnite Chalice. Descend into the large pit ahead. Once down there, destroy some rocks to open up a new passageway to the left of the room. In this passageway, you’ll find a final chamber.

Head into this area and approach the box on a pillar. You’ll need to make another offering here, this time of gold! It’s not too high of a cost, so you can likely pay without having to grind. Once you’ve completed that, the Fortnite Chalice will finally appear! You can then pick it up and collect it, to finish off this one of the quests for the season.

Why is the Fortnite Chalice Quest So Long?

Where to find the Fortnite Chalice is kind of a lengthy quest, it’s a bit out of the ordinary for challenges. This style of quest forces you to complete puzzles. It probably has the most in common with the recent dungeon puzzle-solving for bonus skin quests. Although, this one is detached from any cosmetic reward.

The new Jungle biome actually features quite a few hidden locations like this. This questline might be more involved than normal to try and push players to explore the ruins deeper. With so many hidden spots, players will have to adjust the way they loot normal locations if they want to find everything here. To get all of the rare chests around this area, you’ll need to figure out those door offerings and that sometimes rocks are blocking a secret zone.

The Fortnite Chalice quest is a fun one in the early challenges. It’s a proper puzzle, with some hidden entrances and requirements outside of just “interact with this” or “collect that”. It’s great to see Epic expanding on what quests are in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, hopefully, we get more of these creative challenges in the future!
