Where to Take Out the Secret Fortnite C5 Boss

Fortnite Chapter 5 has tons for players to discover but a new character in Battle Royale has been added in a bit quietly. In the latest Fortnite update, we got a new boss on the map, the Fortnite Krumpus. However, this change wasn’t something added as a major addition listed in the patch notes. Instead, we’ve kind of got a secret Fortnite Chapter 5 boss! Where can you find the Krampus in Fortnite and what do they drop?

Where Can You Find Krampus in Fortnite Chapter 5?

The current season of Fortnite has a heightened presence for the bosses Rather than just wondering the map, they now have their location fully marked at all times thanks to the medallions they’re carrying. However, the new Fortnite boss isn’t marked on the map. He’s actually more of a hidden secret. Where can you find Fortnite Krampus?

He’s located on the map, although he won’t be marked for you to watch out for all game. He’s actually not even in a named POI. You can find Krampus by going to house south of Hazy Hillside. He’s located nearly at the bottom of the basically. Directly south of that POI, you’ll see the house as the last bastion of civilization before the map ends.

When you land here, you’ll find the new character occupying this home. How can you take down Krampus in Fortnite once you drop here?

Defeating Fortnite Krampus

Taking out the new Fortnite Chapter 5 secret boss isn’t too difficult. He won’t summon legions of NPCs like the other main bosses this season. All you really need to do is chip away at his health. Since Krampus is so remote, you likely won’t have as much loot. However, you should be able to take him out relatively simply as long as you have a couple of weapons with their base ammo.

What Does Krampus Drop?

That’s how the Fortnite Krampus works. Once you take him out, what’s he going to drop? This is a bit different from most bosses we normally see, he doesn’t have a dedicated C5 Mythic for you to collect. You’ll instead get something a bit more random.

Whenever you take out Krampus, he disappears and a rare chest appears where he was standing. This works basically like normal loot you open it up and you’ll get something out of the rare chest loot pool. This means you could get a fantastic weapon or something you don’t particularly want.

The prize for taking out Krampus in Fortnite Chapter 5 might be a bit less reliable, but it’s nice to have another character on the Fortnite map. Especially one that isn’t handing out something overpowered like the medallions.
