Begin of the Beta: 21 June 2023, 19:00 (20 June for Closed Beta participants).

End of Beta: June 24, 2023, 08:00 a.m.

The beta is available worldwide for the PC, Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5.

What went down in the latest closed beta of XDefiant, Ubisoft recently showed in the trailer:

Space: How big is the download?

PC: about 30 GB

PS5: 58 GB

Xbox X/S: about 30 GB

Installation: How do I download the game?

You don’t need a code because this is an open beta phase for everyone who is interested. To participate, all you have to do is register (on the official website). To do so, click on Register to Play, select the platform of your choice, and then log in with your Ubisoft account.

Once you’ve signed in, the game should show up promptly in the Ubisoft Connect Launcher or on your console. You will then be able to download it there.

If you still have the client installed on the PS5 from the previous beta, you only need to update it – however, this does not work for the Xbox Series X/S, you will need to download the client again.

Those who played the Closed Beta on PC and now want to start a new round might encounter the problem of not being able to find the game for download on Ubisoft Connect – a solution is already being worked on, as was confirmed on (Twitter

So part of the issue with PC players in particular not seeing the game for download if they were in the CB is that if you opt-ed out of communication from Ubi in the settings you weren’t getting approved for the early start. We are trying to resolve that.
