A little more than two weeks after moving to OG’s inactive roster, position 1 player Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev has officially left the org. In an announcement earlier today, it was confirmed that Yurgai will be playing with Ukrainian org NaVi.

Yuragi has joined NaVi alongside Mongolian midlaner Sukhbat “sanctity-” Otgondavaa. Both Maxim “shigetsu” Popadinec and Maksym “mellojul” Pnev moved to NaVi’s inactive roster as of today.

What’s next for NaVi?

NaVi is one of the oldest orgs in Dota. In fact, they won the very first iteration of The International. But since then, they’ve really struggled to maintain a presence at tier 1 tournaments. It’s worth remembering that during the DPC, most tournaments held just 1 or 2 spots for EEU teams. It’s been difficult for NaVi to qualify when competing against the likes of Team Spirit and Virtus.Pro.

So far this year, they have struggled to qualify for the top tier events such as DreamLeague and ESL One Birmingham. But now that Elite League qualifiers are on the horizon and PGL announced 8 new Dota tournaments, fans should hopefully be seeing much more of NaVi and the new lineup.

Spot open on OG

After a comparatively stellar performance at DreamLeague season 22, many OG fans would be happy to see Timado join the line up permanently. They really didn’t have a lot of time to prepare but it seems his playstyle really fit with the rest of the team. Despite only finishing in 6th at DreamLeague, it’s a much better result than recent months.

OG’s lineup has had a lot of changes since the introduction of OG 2.0. In fact, BZM is the last remaining member. Roster stability has played a part in the success of teams including Gaimin Gladiators and 2x TI champions Team Spirit. Fans will certainly be hoping this is the last change they’ll see for some time!
